Frequently Asked Questions
Everything you need to know about your donation and our process.
1. Is my donation tax-exempt?
Yes. AFNA Child Help Foundation is a registered non-profit organization in India. All donations are eligible for tax exemption under Section 80G of the Income Tax Act. You will receive a tax-deductible receipt via email immediately after your contribution.
2. How exactly will my money be used?
Transparency is our priority. 100% of your donation is directed toward our core programs: Nutrition, Education, Healthcare, and Protection. We maintain low administrative costs to ensure that the maximum possible amount reaches the children on the ground.
3. Can I donate in memory of someone or for a special occasion?
Absolutely. You can choose to dedicate your donation to a loved one or celebrate a birthday/anniversary by supporting a child. Simply mention this in the "Notes" section of the donation form, and we can send a digital certificate to the person you are honoring.
4. Is my online payment secure?
Yes. Our website uses industry-standard SSL encryption to protect your data. We partner with India's leading secure payment gateways (like Razorpay or CCAvenue) to ensure your credit/debit card or UPI details are never stored and are processed safely.
5. Can I visit the children or the centers I am supporting?
We welcome our donors to see the impact of their kindness firsthand. Please contact us in advance to schedule a visit to one of our community centers so we can give you a guided tour of our programs in action.
